Side chaining on compressors

Side chaining on compressors (and limiters and gates for that matter) would be useful.

... but just side-chaining for LIVE's Compressors. Not for 3rd party.
I'd like to be able to use side-chaining on my Sonnox dynamics plug-in. They have the facility (as AU but not VST) to accept a side-chain signal but Live seems to offers no means of applying it.

Put your sidechain plug on track 1, assign 'Audio To' tab of track 2 to track 1. Below "Audio To" tab change from "Track In" to the sidechain input ie "3/4 Sonnox" etc.
Live can sidechain with most plugs that offer it.

Splendid. Many thanks for that. Side-chaining was the only issue preventing me using Live extensively. Live's interface is light years ahead of all other DAWS and using it again will be a pleasure.
