What's a Kaospilot??? Sounds fun/dangerous :)

It's fun but not so dangerous. We have schools in Aarhus (Denmark), Oslo (Norway), Stockholm & Malmö (Sweden) & Rotterdam (The Netherlands). This is stright from our curriculum:

"A KaosPilot is an agent of change who takes the initiative to start
up new activities, projects and businesses. A KaosPilot acts
dynamically and with an eye for alternatives within social systems,
organisations and networks in order to solve defined assignments
and create new opportunities.

A KaosPilot is a generalist who operates across fields, who
combines widely varying knowledge and competencies, and
therefore has the potential to be a creative and motivating
coordinator across different specialisations. The core skill is
situation-based leadership and the ability to develop and carry out
projects and business designs. A KaosPilot is able to generate
relevant solutions to complex problems by developing ideas,
structuring, carrying out research, analysing, coaching and
communicating to the given target group or client.

A KaosPilot is dynamic, entrepreneurial, responsible, social, brave,
persevering, creative and curious.

The program stresses a broad and visionary knowledge on societal
conditions, leadership, art, politics, ethics and sustainable
development.

Typical tasks for a KaosPilot
A KaosPilot can be self-employed or work for any private business
or public organisation where the tasks are challenging, creative
and project-oriented. The typical tasks that a KaosPilot is capable
of carrying out are:
• Business development.
• Project leadership.
• Process leadership.
• Idea development.
• Organisational development.
• Human Resource Management.
• Strategy development.
• Competency development.
• Course design.
• Communication tasks.
• Event design."

So basicly we learn to manage projects and processes combined with our own interests:)

I applied for the NYC gig but seeing as I'm underqualified and so forth I was not worthy of a response. Alas.

Well, mostly we try to do it in the real world as well. This education has taken me to Barcelona, Milan & Mumbai where I lived for about a month in each city working with different projects. This last year will include both internship and our own projects so almost no school at all...
