easy program change sorry

what the easiest way to covert midi notes to program change messages in ableton. I am using remote 25 if that helps. sorry for not rtfm
clip view - there are program change controls there. haven't played with them, seems they work.
then make a clip that fires from a midi note (midi assign to a clip) to fire off the clip with the program change info.
me thinks.

Live is pretty weak when it comes to midi tools, thinks like sysex dumps and CC/note/program conversion.
