Drag-Drop into Plug-in Windows

This seems silly, as every other sequencer is capable of this.
Live needs to support browser drag>drop into plug-in windows.
It's odd that you can do plug-in to plug-in drag and drop, but not browser to plug-in.

I'm gonna bump this, now that the Live 8 specs are out. Hopefully this is one of the unspecified "workflow enhancements".
This really needs to happen. Kontakt, Shortcircuit, Battery, and Reaktor would all be a lot more fun if we had this.

I'm going to bump this again since I haven't in over a year, and because I find it more and more frustrating as time goes on.
I look at it this way: the browser already has an option to cut to a "current project" view, and it would make sense to be able to record things and then quickly drag them into our sampler of choice.
There is absolutely no reason why I would have a plug-in window open and think, "Hey, I really need to drop this sample behind the window I have open." It's so counter-intuitive it's almost a joke. If I have a sampler window open, I'm trying to drag a sample into it. Not behind it. Literally every other host I use has this functionality, as that is 90% of the reason you would want a browser (at least in my book).
So please, add this. Please don't reserve this feature for Ableton and M4L samplers only. I use M4L, Kontakt, and Simpler everyday, and it would be awesome if Kontakt wasn't crippled by Live.

Drag/drop wavs and nki files from Live's Browser onto Kontakt 4 and Battery works fine here.

Color me embarrassed. I hadn't tried it since 8.1.1 or so, as I just gave up on it, and was in a crappy mood when I posted. Thank you for pointing it out. This thread can be locked now! Time to go make some tracks...

Well I have gone and bought a Mac Pro since first posting on this thread. I just tried to drag samples to Kontakt 3, Battery 3 and the Maschine plugin interface. None of which worked, so my request would be to please add this same support for the Mac.
