As title states I'm trying to contact Ableton users in Birmingham UK who use Ableton to produce dance muic - mainly House Genre - Electro etc.

I stumbled on this post, rather late, but, if you r in birmingham and fancy a short journey, may 14th in manchester we, 'LIVETEK' (certified ableton live training centre) will be hosting a workshop day and evening house/techno event if you fancy it.
The venue is 'Walrus', and there are some great demos in the workshops.
im house music based and will be performing live and discussing setups, performance based functions of live, so pop up and check it out.
