Double click the audio clip you have. Under "Sample" you will find an option Rev. that'll do the trick.
Edit: I can't believe there were 7 forum users who looked at this before me and did not answer (or did not know the right answer).

You must simply be one of lifes nurturers and carers and should be happy about this.
The other 7 forum users probably wouldnt piss on a burning man to put him out.

Is there a way to reverse a sample within simpler or a drum rack? Like if I slice a drum loop to midi and then want to reverse one of the snare hits is there a quick way to do this? They only way I could find to do it was to take the file offline and edit it in Audition. I'm just learning how to use Live though so maybe I missed something.

Sampler is the only instrument that can reverse..
a quick way to do it for Simpler/Impulse;
drag the sample in a clip slot,
reverse it,
drag the clip into Simpler/Impulse..
cheers..

only sampler allows this, not simpler or impulse which is absolute shite by the way people who are supposed to improve ableton!
you have to drop your sample in an audio trck and "rev" there and drop it back in to simpler.

I find simpler and impulse to be scetching tools anyway, and I think Live itself is THE instrument, so why bother to enhance simpler or impulse.

well one is a drum machine and one is a sampler. a sampler that cannot reverse is a bit odd. that's my main beef, i can live without impulse but it seems like it would be very easy to implement and benefit a lot of people

Don't forget the Reverse button in Clip View! Like Poster said, drag the sample into a clip slot, click on it, then hit the REV button.

you know that you can reverse a clip easily, and its the simpler/impulse theres no reverse function.
i wonder why they have not provided this feature on simpler or impulse
