itunes ruined my weekend (sorta)

OK, the weekend wasn't going to be all that massive but still. I took my MBP to a cabin get away weekend to be loud and stupid.

Problem 1: The itunes window is locked in position. I can minimize it but I can't drag it around anywhere or change the window size. To make matters worse I had it located on my second monitor in this stuck position and when I didn't have my second monitor with me it did of course put it on the main monitor but it located it with part of the application off the screen to the right. This means I couldn't scroll at all because that part was off the screen. Fuck!

Problem 2: Not every time, but occasionally when I clicked on a track I bought from the itunes store it would ask me to log in to verify or authorize something before it would play the track. I don't have an internet connection where I was at (which I thought was a good thing). WTF??

Any ideas or comments here? I just installed the latest update but I still can't move the window. :x

Well it nice to know that iTunes doesnt just sabotage PCs ... ;)

If there was any other way to get music onto my ipod - I would never have installed that load of buggy crap.

Try changing the resolution to something small like 800x600 and back to the normal resolution. When I do this, all my icons and windows usually end up jumbled on the same screen.

thanks for the tips guys. I repaired the permissions and also did the screen resolution change and I can move the window once again, not sure which did the trick.

At some point I'll have to cut the internet connection and start playing itunes purchased songs like a madman to see if it asks me to log in again. I guess this goes to show how you are rarely disconnected from the net completely.

I'm just happy I can move and resize the window again.
