Next time I bump into Tiesto in the Supermarket near my house I'll ask him if he's got any.

All the good operator trance presets have been patented by Tiesto and we legally can't use them anymore

this is why 'tarnce' came about
I think you are safe if you use tarnce presets

Yeah, I forgot to mention that. Tarnce would be what you're looking for.

You my friend need to learn how to program a synth. Generally speaking, you can coax pretty much any 'style' sound from any subtractive/FM synth if you are creative enough.

well thanks you for your tip !
I do sounds by my way .... I dont have so much free time for spend , so I take the best sound and I work with this patch like with basic patch . Result is , I dont have any corny sounds in my folder and you save your time than you get through any vsti .
This is reason why Im looking for trance patches for Analog and Operator .

Get Zebra instead.
I know you can make any sound with any synth plus effects, within reason, but if you want a specific sound why not get a synth that does it out of the box. Much easier.
If you insist on keeping with Operator, try adding chorus, flanger, some subtle grain delay and reverb to fatten up your sounds.
I've recently been thinking that trance should be a state of mind, not a genre. Try to recreate a state of mind and you will make good trance. Try to recreate a genre and it will sound shit. I haven't tried this yet. Good luck

analogue..
both oscs on SAW
osc2 detuned a little
then turn on a bit of unison (on the far right of the synth)
maybe pitch osc2 up or down an octave
chorus
reverb
delay

generally, I've found that the words "you, my friend..." are usually followed by a massive insult, thereby indicating that you are not my friend at all, but instead, my mortal foe
