Guyz,
one of my friend needs to extract from his mpc 1000 to Ableton Live, few trax to creat a session on Live.
But he would like to keep his beatz feelin' so he decide to rendered his mpc Master than his Mac (on Live so..)
Then when he began rec to rendered each track of his song( session) he wants keep the rec of the midi out of hi mpc ( to have the peeerrfect groove , to set on this).
But unfortunately, after few bars there is some "lags" BTW the audios and the midi file ( which be The Rule of the groove etc..)
Any idea of what he could be to have a safe bouce of trax from each sessions ?

From my side I suggested him to leave the midi stuff and to just rendered each track in audio.
Like this each file could be on the same "0" and latency...
But if there is The solution, thanx for advance !

What are you using as far as a computer system?
What kind of audio card are you using, what kind of connection does it have. Meaning Firewire, USB and USB2 etc....
How long are your midi cables or are you using usb to connect.

Get back to me and I will see what I can do to help you.

know with MPCs you have to make sure your midi is set up, mpc I had to go into the sync area and turn on what I wanted to use. Meaning Midi IN (A) or (B) and Midi OUT (A) or (B). Hit me up on IM: lproduction 1
I use AIM I can give you a hand and when we get it working we will post the info here.

Hi Don,
sorry for the delay...

Well in fact it was from my friend.
he didn't check on his 1000 the main midi, on bottom left,
to change in "on.
Like this is stuff could simply send the midi to Live.

thanx anyway for your quick response.

take care

It's always the small things we over look at times.
