I posted my question in the wrong area the first time.

motif usb to computer

live 7 works with my motif but how do I change my sounds? I notice in clip I can change the banks but nothing changes and I want to be able to use live and my motif together.

I have live set up with my motif usb wise and it works that way but can't change banks someone please help. I did a search and people are asking the same question but not posting what they did to fix the problem.

Otherwise add +1 to msb and lsb, so if you want 2 adres 0 and 32, use 01 and 33 for msb, lsb, program number stays as it is...

That is the one I was reading, I think I have to check my in/out on my motif I will do that when I get off of work today.

Ok, here are my Motif settings.
Utility
Midi IN/OUT : USB
Thru Port: 1

Utility [Sync]
Midi Sync: Midi
Clock Out: On
SeqCtrl:Off

Utility [ch]
Basic RcvCH: 1
KBD TransCH: 1
DeviceNo: 1

Those are my settings on my Motif and I still can't change my banks in Live 7. I opened a midi track and also did a ext. midi track.

do you want to change motif sounds or live 7 sounds?

I want to change Motif sounds with in Live 7. So that I don't have to save my sound banks in Motif, so when I start up live 7 and select my project Live 7 will recall all of my bank settings.

Live settings are as follow
midi
motif usb-1 In
Motif usb-1 out

I don't have anything else selected and I can send/recv. midi.

MrMoneypenny where are you, I still need some help. Anyone at that I could use help on this.
