This is a god send. Upload and share as many wavs as you want - displays a comment waveform! cool widgets to spread around different sites.

About time someone did this thing properly - free as well!

well, starting tomorrow it will be open to the public and apparently it won't be free. I like the design and everything, but I doubt that I will pay for this as we already pay for a server with ftp and a web, so it isn't too much hassle to share our stuff.

Anyone interested in selling mp3s independently from itunes, beatport etc. should check out http://www.ithinkmusic.com as well.

bloody hell - I've been missing a treat!

didn't realize its not going to be free - I also have a server. would be great if you could use their interface on your own webspace for a reduced rate. I'd go for that.

Looks very interesting, how do you know is not free? they don't say nothing at the site.

Do they have a good widget streaming player you can stick on myspace? I hate the myspace player on every possible level. I'll gladly lose my nominal play count if I can replace it with a good player.

Bit of a blunder they made - there was a lot of info about the pay accounts, and a single line in the emails they sent out to users saying "There will still be a free account but will have certain limits." Unfortunately people keep missing that line (I was one of them :-) )

Personally I think the free account or the €9/month accounts are gonna be more than enough for most people about here. Hopefully people will treat it as the sharing/collaboration tool it was intended and not as another "collect as many friends as possible" MySpace clone.

cosier and more intimate than myspace for example.
already made some interesting contacts with it.

luckily i've been given a free account till january since i was a beta-tester!
