i need help still didnt get any answear i record my mix on live do i have to use the internal eq to be able record changes . i tried with mixer it dont recognize whenn im take out high or low freq i know i have to render whenn im finnish please help thanks

If you are mixing out of the box (ie: on your hardware mixer) then your recorded set won't have any changes you made once the signal left your computer. So that's your eq, volumes if you are using the hardware mixer faders or crossfaders etc...it will sound like mess.

If you want to be able to record everything then you'll need to mix inside Ableton. If you still want to mix out of the box then I'm sure there is an easy way to route your master output of your mixer back into ableton so when you press record it will capture the stream from the mixer as well. I've never done it so maybe someone else can help. Then when you render only render the audio recorded from the mixer (there's a drop down menu that lets you choose which tracks to render)

I use an external mixer and just send the record outs from that back into m soundcard and record everything to a free audio track n Live. All in my DJ set project, been doing it for years, works great.
