Does anyone know if it is possible to stream audio in through Live using an external audio interface (an Edirol, or iMic or similar), and listen to the output from Live though the Harmon Kardon Soundsticks I'm currently using (these just use Sound Manager) ?

I'm guessing it should be.

I could always use the outs on whichever device I'm using to stream sound (from a synth) through Live, and play through an amp - it would just be neater if I could use my HK's.

if i understand you correctly, Live 1.5 lets you choose different devices for ins and outs. just go to the Audio section in the Preferences section. it's all right there.

Yeah - think it SHOULD work.

Might try and borrow a devide before shelling out.

this will definitely work. sometimes i use my emi 2|6 as the input and the regular headphone jack on the Computer as the output. one can run off ASIO or whatever and the other off SoundManager.
