I was in the magnificent city of Barcelona a few years ago...
I'm not sure why I ever came back to the States. I actually hooked up with some friends I made working in entertainment and totally had a blast hanging out with them. I could have got a job working with them, I'm sure.
The language barrier wouldn't have proven to be too hard to overcome; just think at this point, three years later, I'd probably be fluent in Spanish which would have already made me a much more well rounded person.
I enjoy my life here; really I do. I have a good job, great friends, have met the love of my life and was raised here. Still, I can't help to think I would be living a much more interesting and ultimately rewarding life living in Spain. Tonight with Maurizio and Tikiman would be a prime example.
Fuck. Back to hearing dolts talk about American politics...
At least I know that I will never, ever spend a minute dreaming of living in a larger city in America such as New York, LA or even DC or Chicago. I don't think living in those cities will ever help me. I really just want to live in Spain. Much, much more my speed. A country like Spain can be as wild or as tranquil as one wants...
