Double click the Live pack and it'll sort itself. If not in a Live pack, just drag the individual files into your library.

ok think I've sussed this one and my word how much fun is Operator One last thing though, there seems to be a folder for MACOSX with .adv files as well as the main folder with the .adv files when I download some free presets. Does anyone know why this is? Are the preset .adv different for MACS and windows?

I realize this is a rather old thread, but I didn't want to create a new thread for something that might be discussed ad nauseum already...but I just picked up Live 7 + Operator & Drum Machines on 3/31 for $319 thanks for to the end-of-lifecycle sales.


I got everything installed and whatnot, but there isn't a lesson in Live on Operator that I can find anywhere. According to this page:http://www.ableton.com/pages/instrument ... to_operate it looks like there should be, but this is what I see in the Lessons/Help pane in Live 7.



I've clicked into most of those and can't find anything on Operator.

I found a backup folder from a couple years ago when I had the Live 6 LE installed and there are some .als files in a lesson folder about Operator. I'm at work right now, but I can install those in Live 7 and use them in there? Or am I just completely missing the Operator lessons in Live 7?

Okay, when I downloaded and tried to install that livepack, I got a message stating it was already installed, but I see nothing about Operator. Seriously...am I just blind??
