Im a liberal with reasons to vote republican this time but I was totally split 50/50 on mccain and obama so i was going to either vote ron paul or write in paris hilton until I read on the huffington post(as bad/unreliable/ridicoulous as obermen/orieily imo) about grimmes being mccains financial advisor. what are the chances of grimmes being in the cabinet if mccain wins? please source your info in your post...feel free to add any other source-able info if you like...this would be my tipping point to vote obama. preemptive fuck you for all the "this is a live board, not us politics board, I hate americans" hypocritical bastards)

About grimmes... no one can tell you for sure that he will be appointed. When this comment is made it is because traditionally high ranking members of a campaign get appointed if the candidate wins.

Basically he is McCain's right hand man in this, so basing things on what has happened traditionally its pretty much a lock, that he is given some form of position unless he were to turn it down and that I cannot imagine in any way.

No, the two are not the same... in addition to the individual running, its also the party platforms that makes the big difference in policy.
