Best Control Surface?

Hi people,

I'm guessing this may have been discussed before in the forums, but I couldn't seem to dig it up in the search.

Can anyone recommend a good control surface for working with Ableton in the studio? i.e. less oriented towards live performance and DJing?
I'd really like something with good solid faders for doing final mixdowns.
Most things I have found on the net seem to be slanted towards DJing and live performance (understandable given the name of the software).

Any tips appreciated.

ProjectMix IO possibly or some fo the mackie control surfaces. Or maby the Novation Remote series. They have faders but the resolution isn't fantastic but usable when tracking.
