Hi everyone!

I own a Korg Zero 8 and I'd like to expand this by adding either a Faderfox or the X:One 1D.
I would use it for setting loops (loop in, out, start & end) and to navigate through the tracks and then through my clips and starting a clip, so I wouldn't need to use the keyboard again.
I'm also searching Ableton how you can map any MIDI control to scroll through my tracks & clips and how to start a clip, would this be possible to map this with that joggle thingy on the X:One 1D?

Which would you recommend?

As you can see, rotary encoders A & B are labelled "slot/scene scroll" and "track select" underneath...

So turning A (in "main" mode) scrolls up and down through your scenes and turning B scrolls left and right through your tracks.

Now note that above those 2 encoders are the labels "clip/scene launch" and "clip/scene stop". So in "main" mode, pushing A will launch the active clip/scene and pushing B will stop it.

There is no mapping required as if you are using live 7 they have native support and for live 6 or below (down to 4, I believe) faderfox provide a template set with these controlls mapped.

The rotaries can also be assigned to eq, fx, sends, etc in different modes, but I always have one of mine in "main" mode so I don;t need to touch my laptop.

I'm sorry I have no idea about the Allen & Heath units.
