How do I make the MPD24 touch sensitive with the Drum Rack??

I bought an Akai MPD24 a while ago and ever since purchasing I haven't been able to get the 'touch sensitivity' working with the drum rack in Ableton 7.0.
I have played with numerous settings, and read the manuals, but can't seem to figure this one out.
I'm sure there's an easy fix.. Please help!!
Thanks.

Hi,
please check the "Vel" setting of the Simpler that holds the sample in the drum rack pad.
The standard setting is 0%. Set to other values to let the simpler react to the velocity of the MPD!

Brilliant.. cheers for that.. although i finally figured it out before jumping back on the forum..
Many thanks anyway!!!
Is there any way you can make the drum rack default to be a different velocity?

Sure:
-create a simpler (just a simpler, without drum rack!)
-adjust all the parameters like you want them to be by default
-drag and drop the simpler from the track into the following folder of your Live library:
"library->defaults->dropping samples->on drum rack"
-hit enter to confirm the name of the preset
The next time you drop a clip onto a pad of the drum rack it will use this simpler preset as default!
