Hey everyone, I have a question. I have a Motu Ultralite and am trying to use multiple outputs for my studio monitors. So basically I have 4 yamaha studio monitors that I want to use at once. So the issue I am having is I can only seem to select either the main outputs or analog 1-2 or analog 3-4 analog 5-6 etc. I am trying to use the main outs & analog 1-2 simultaniously. Any suggestions etc? Thanks!

Use busses on a pre-fade send on tracks you want route to outputs other than main out

You should use post-fader sends so it reflects anything you've done to the faders so you would be listening to the same mix on both sets of monitors and not just the levels you recorded to Live.

Forget using the sends actually, why dont you configure an additional external out and route relevant tracks to appropriate out instead of master?

Yea the only problem is I want all of the sound from all tracks going to both sets of speakers. So I think I will have to configure the post fader sends and try that. Thanks for the help everyone!

u could send everything to an individual track X before onto the master channel, and then take an audio in from X to a new track Y..

can't you do some sort of bus routing in the motu routing software that'd save live adding more cpu? i haven't used it but i got the impression you could do that when i looked at buying one.

ive heard about "mirrored outputs" = i think its 11-12 on the ultralite that send the same signal as the main outputs.
