Has any one else found that that Live 3.0.4 will not run with the newest version of Waves plugins (version 5) installed?

I find that it will scan the VST's, but then at initializing the application, it quits. I've removed them from the VST folders to verify, though I need them for other applications. OS 10.3.4.

Yup I can confirm I just updated my Gold Bundle to Version 5 and Live will crash after scanning the plugins--each of the Waves plugins names are displayed as they are scanned and then *poof* I plan ongetting Live 4 but I hope they (Waves & Ableton) can work to fix this. I did submit an support email to Waves.

you have to install the waves in the ableton folder, but to use the same plugin with other vst aplication, install the waves again in other folder... this works...
The same problem happen with the IK multimedia Amplitube....

Which folder would that be? In Applications? Application Support? the User or Root?

I also notice my IK plugins do not allow me to choose presets.

All of my VST plugins are in the Root>Library>Plugins>VST

I can verify that Waves V5 will not run with Live 3.04 or 4.0b7 and crashes on starting Live. On removing WaveShell-VST 5.0 from Library:Audio:Plug-Ins:VST Live starts fine.

I noticed that Live is not on the list of "supported" applications from Waves for V5 either. Maybe they had the same problem too?!
