Here's how!

OSX:

1. Launch Ableton then force quit

2. Go to user/library/preferences/Ableton/(version ie: 7.1.10)/Crash

3. Search by date modified to get the most recent .cfg file

4/ Grab that file rename it as 'Undo.cfg' and replace the 'Undo.cfg' here:
user/library/preferences/Ableton/(version ie: 7.1.10)/

5. Reboot live and press yes to restore session data.

VOILA!!!

(note it should work the same with windows users provided that you locate the same files respectively on your OS.
