Hi,
Working with MIDI clips today and normally there are two ways to start the location of playback. One is the "speaker" click where it starts at a certain point. The other is clicking in the grid and it realigns the starting point of playback. This is the feature that is not working in b12.
To start playback from a new location, I have to click above in the arrangement window whereas I am used to clicking in the MIDI grid when working in MIDI clips.
I hope this is a bug and not a removed feature.
Thanks.

clicking into the scrubbing area (where the mouse becomes a speaker symbol) is still possible - but just clicking into the grid did not start playing in any of the previous versions.
or do you mean something different?

Hi,
If you are working in the Arranger, you can start the playback from the detail view insertion mark, or play the selection in the detail view, using the "play selection" shortcut: CTRL spacebar, on PC - should be Cmd spacebar on the Mac.
This is not possible in Session view.
I move the thread away as there is no bug here. Please open another thread if you find any bug.

Amaury
