Particular Vocal Effect
Hey Guys,
Does anyone know how this vocal effect was done? I know there's plenty of ways to achieve a similar result, but I'm just so in love with this exact sound.

Thanks Abes!

Reseting multiple FX with one button
Hey guys,
There is probably a thread about this, but I had a search and couldn't find anything.
I was checking out this Nosaj Thing clip, and I noticed during his set he would move like, 3 or 4 knobs, and do a big FX swell, and then he would press a button, and all of the FX parameters that he ...

MIDI Routing Problem / MIDI Yoke
Hi Guys,
I'm having a problem routing MIDI signals through Ableton.
What I want to do is to have a knob on my MPK49 control the dry/wet of an effect.
In turn, I want Ableton to send that corresponding signal to MIDI Yoke, so that I can control both Ableton, and an external program (Resolume) with ...

Controller/Interface Clash
Hi Abes!
I've been experiencing a problem ever since I bought a APC40. Here is my setup:
Windows XP SP3
Ableton 8 Suite
Akai APC40
Akai MPK49
M-Audio Fast Track Pro
My setup worked fine when I didn't have the APC40. I could play synth lines on the MPK49 and record guitar through the Fast Track ...

Audio Interface Advice
Hey Guys,
Quick question for an audio interface guru.
I need an interface that can run a bass guitar, an electric guitar, and at least one mic for vocals, (ideally 2, but would settle for one if its that much cheaper).
It must be a multi-track output, ie bass to one track in ableton, gtr to ...

Re: Live Performance Help
Thanks very much guys, you've all been so helpful!

Re: Live Performance Help
is it true there are programs (vst's or AU's) that can run on one sort of mac and not the other?
im beginning to think the reliability of a mac is not worth the giant price tag or compatibility issues.

Re: Live Performance Help
Thanks again, I think I'm starting to understand.
Does anyone know of a great c64 emulator, or 8bit emulator for Mac?
Or does anyone know if there is a Mac VSTi version of Unknown64 Pro?
