Never really used Reason, always been a Live user - but loving the tracks, keep them coming.

Running 8.0.9 on a Macbook Pro - pretty stable really.

Only had issues when I went to 8.1.0, so reverted back.

Just the regular Saffire - never had any problems with the latency.

Might give that a try. Although upgraded to 8.1 and was really glitchy so reverted back to 8.0.9.

Focusrite Saffire works well for me - firewire, around 300 euro, stable, solid construction, lot's out outputs and XLR for audio recording.

Not sure if this has been covered but I have a Macbook Pro, Ableton (8.0.9) and Novation LaunchPad.

All works well... until... I close the laptop.

On return the LaunchPad appears to "crash' and lose sync with the laptop, the lights flash randomly and I have to disconnect and reconnect to get going ...
