I used a PCR-1 with channel volumes set to the pots, but trying to turn down 3 pots at once is impossible with only 2 hands !!!!!!!! ;-) Also I find there is terrible latency if I try to turn down even just 2 at once. Also don't know if U DJ with Ableton ?? If so do U find the crossfader ...

Not a bad idea but I will need to deactivate up to 4 Channels at once. So probably would not be possible. I am going to re-download Ableotn and see if it may just be a problem that has arisen, as I can't recall it doing it apart from the last few weeks.
