Re: Ubermap (Alpha, Mac-only): Simple Push parameter remapping
in my case the hash should be on the filepath + filename
does anyone can help me to modify this part of the UbermapDevices.py on line 45:
name += '_' + hashlib.md5(params).hexdigest()
to replace the 'params' with the path and the name of the device
okay if you need the device name in the cfg ...

Re: Ubermap (Alpha, Mac-only): Simple Push parameter remapping
1/ when i compare the generated Hash for GenericDevice01.amxd inside the ubermap/Devices folder with a standalone MD5 program it doesn't match!!!
so i'm wondering if the Hash Analysis is done on the file itself or on the string (the device path)!
does anyone know a way to identify the String Path ...

arming instrument tracks & lock on control surface conflict
hi all,
just have a quick test with ableton live 8.2.2 + apc40
and there's a strange bug/feature????
lets say we always want the first device/rack of the track to be the blue handed one (no matter the type midi/audio/instrument/rack...etc...) for remote purpose :
it doesn't work for instrument ...

not enough memory message
the memory limit under windows 7 64 bit is around 5 Go with 6 Go of physical RAM
so around 80% of the available physical memory

buffer shuffler feedback routing
do you guys think it's possible
to make a looper with an insert routing (like the ableton looper)
with Buffer shuffler!
since there's only 2 audio input/output channels in M4L devices
how to avoid feedback feedbackfeedbackfeedbackfeedbackfeedbackfeedbackfeedbackfeedbackfeedback

pre/post fx routing option for midi tracks/racks
scenario:
when routing a midi track to an instrument rack with chains
sending pgm chg and CC's to the track input affect all chains!!! no filtering regarding the chain selector position
sending directly to the instrument doesn't affect the midi devices placed before it.

Re: turn off all devices in a track via Live API, how to?
hi
if you use program change or midi CC's in your synths rack (to limit the ram usage for example)
you have to map the chain selector to a midi filter device (midiparse->switch CC/PgmChg->midiformat)
cause the chain selector only mute the midi notes on's ...

Re: [share] how to delete clips with M4L
could be nice to implement this function directly in the apc40 or the LP (not sure control surface scripts support keyboard msg)
for ex : if you press metronome butt(hold) + the desired clip slot (matrix) => delete
for the focus problem (live not selected) is there something in max to list the ...
