By the way, if I use a digital output from my interface and I'm using a plug-in like albino at wich bit depht live delivery the signal?
And If I have an audio track recorded at 16 bit? It will delivery at wich bitdepth?

Bitrate

Hi all, just a curiosity! If I need how can I know at wich bitrate ableton leave out the sound?

There's the output sample rate in the preference but there is not the out bitrate. It shows only record bitrate, so where I can set that?

I don't know why but if I use the mute button it continue to play even if a smaller volume!

Hi Guys...

There's a way to record audio into external instrument track or freeze/flatten it before the effect?

I think it's not useful if you need to route each time to an audio track to record it. And... why I need to switch off the external instrumetn each time to mute it?

I'm trying the new ableton 8 in a studio enviroment, and I'm thinking that will be cool if when u group a couple of tracks, the folder could lead the volume like a master without changing the output of each subtrack to "group".
This will be very useful in a situation where you have each track routed ...

Midi program change

Hi all, I 've a little problem sending empty midi clip with program change.

Every time a launch a clip witgh a pg the clip wait 1 shot before to change the program on the hardware.
Any advice?

I've a lot of machine connected in my setup, every machine has it's own midi port.
The microkorg is the only one connected in both direction, the other machine are connected in one way.

The problem are two.

I've only the microkorg connected in both direction but if I disconnect the input nothing change.

The clock is doubled when I click "sync on" on two ports!

Hi mates! I've some fucking problem with my c setup and ableton live, hope someone could help me.

I'm on PB 1.25 w/tiger 10.3.9
Live 7.0.7
