Please bare with me, I'm still trying to get my head around this one.

So.. I have a midi track with note information in it.
I'm sending these midi notes out to my korg ms200 but what I hope to do is send out a program change(?) so that every time I play this clip in ableton the same ...

Has anyone managed to get Live 5 to change to any other bank than 1 on a nord G2?

Live seems to send the bank LSB before the MSB, while the G2 sends the MSB before the LSB. I think this may be the problem.

Is there a workaround of some type?

Yeah, it's something that will (hopefully) be fully built in to OSX. There's no reason why the OSX filesystem interface can't keep track of all the system files that need special permissions and correct any screwed up permissions when you shut down your computer. Not really ableton related but can anyone tell me about the power supply on american sold nord synths.
They are a lot cheaper there and I'm coming over for a visit soon.
Are they 110 volt models? Or do they use an external psu/stepdown convertor or internal.

I had time today to fire up a MIDI protocol sniffer and see what had been happening, and have discovered a bug in Live. I've emailed details directly to Ableton, and they'll hopefully be able to fix it in a new release.

Basically, if you have patch/bank selection set up at the start of a clip ...

I'm having trouble selecting the patch I want from my nord rack 3 as part of the clip properties in Live. I'm using Live 5 and I could have sworn that I had this working before.
