there is sameness to it 'cause there are no tracks! usually these improv sessions are pulled together a few weeks before a gig - i never play the same set twice, so i'm just jamming loops that are all from basically the same creative session... i'm less ...

for creating a top notch update that delivers on every level!

i love their drum machine, the microtonic. it's really amazing and i can't wait to find out what their new product might be... anyone out there have any guesses? i tried signing up for the beta testing but no one has gotten back to me yet... alas.

swing on everything would be good, that's for sure! it kind of kills the groove otherwise...

i suppose i could slice to MIDI, but the problem is my randomized jams are way too long to be sliced to 16th notes. there just isn't enough room on the drum racks at that resolution...

yes, you are right: the first box is for bars, the second for quarter notes and third for 16th notes, so a 0 0 1 setting would yield a 16th note length.

the clips are set to the equivalent length of a 16th note...

i want the 16th note long clips to swing as they are triggered.

anyway, as you said, i don't think this is possible.

that sounds really complicated...



right now, i've just been resampling the audio back into live and then swinging the audio... but obviously there are some artifacts in the audio when you swing things this way...

i really wish you swing beat repeat too...
