SNAP TO GRID!!! It's all i want to have. Not drawing to grid with the pen tool, but being able to grab an automation point with the pointer and when I drag it, it snaps to the next grid line.

I would like Ableton to be able to recognize when a sound card (USB, Firewire, Thunderbolt, whatever) is disconnected from the computer and automatically switch the sound output to the built-in sound card.

And when Ableton is re-connected to a sound card it will automatically re-connect to that ...

I've asked for this many times.

Music has pick-up measures. what that means is that some compositions have a few beats of music before the downbeat, and that music is usually inside what is known as an incomplete measure, or pick-up measure.

Logic has this capability.

Why doesn't Live ...

Wow! Just did it and it was so easy and it looked pretty damn good. This must be done Live 9 if could do it myself in 2 minutes!

Live 9 is a massive disappointment to me. Sooooo many things unaddressed after so long. I've personally have a list of near 100 improvements, from large to small, and almost none of them have been addressed...

It's not the plugs that make me feel meh.

Although they're just playing catch-up with fab filter and other innovative companies.

It looks like from the video:

The UI remains dated and flat.
No retina support.
Same basic tool set on the top bar.

This would be an amazing addition to the Clip Boxes in Ableton Live 9.

Swing - Adds swing based on a chosen sub-division (2nd, 4th, 8th, 16th, 32nd etc...) and allows the user to introduce timing randomness as well ...
