Please please create a function to see other MIDI channels as shadows in the background. In a selection bar you can decide which MIDI channels you want to see as shadows or even edit them with the main MIDI channel.
BUT one important thing:
Not just a function to edit all channels at once, this is not possible if you play some notes unisono, they must be SHADOWS just for orientation!
(maybe this helps to get more attention, because 1.it is a nice idea 2.the other thread gets many attention with this technic

)

yes a great features for composition. necessary for my work which is done like that since 15 years. I use Studio One becuse of its great Multitrack Editing and if Bitwig has enough needful features, I will buy this and work on it furthermore!

would love to see that feature as well. kind of the only reason I switch to Cubase at a certain point in almost every project. I always wondered if it was possible to program something like that in max4Live?
tried to use max score editor or what it´s called but it was kind of buggy.

Requested this with support email
for versions 6, 7, 8 and 9.
It would help a lot when doing certain things.
And would expand how many users stay using Live.

Agreed. This is is pretty standard (Reaper/Cubase/StudioOne/Logic/etc), and is an extremely valuable feature.
