Everytime i assign a control to ...

UC33e MIDI Out (as interface)

Can any UC33e users possibly help with a seemingly simple problem I'm having?

I'm trying to send midi from ableton to some hardware synths via the midi output of the UC33e. I have RTFM, turned the midi out port to "on" in the ableton device settings and have applied the "midi out from usb" command ...

Re: UC33e Control Surface - Changing Banks and Remote Scripts

Ok i've figured it out a way to make it work. I'm just using the top row of pots for the bank of parameters and using the scroll buttons to scroll the banks....

Set the UC33e to run on preset 5 - press recall and number 5 and make sure your global midi channel is 01 on the unit.

Create a directory ...

Re: noisy neighbour

ha, yeah a sub's an option - Seriously though, i've tried the sound war thing already, he's really not bothered how much noise i make. I've nearly blew my monitors once already this week trying to play that game with him.

Of course its great when i really need to crank it, but when i need to work ...

Re: noisy neighbour

over here the police will only get involved if its between the hours of 11pm-7am, as its a disturbance of the peace. Looked into it a bit more tonight - basically, i have to report him to my local council who require that i purchase an spl meter as you mentioned, and then keep a daily log of his ...

Sennheiser headphones for a noisy room?

Can anyone compare the difference between the sennheiser HD25's MK2 - C's and the HD280's in terms of noise attenuation. Apparently the hd280's block out noise as much as 32db. Does anyone know the spec for the HD25's or can compare?

trying to escape external sounds and lose my self in some cans ...

saving edited files with external sample editor

I'm using Wavelab as my external editor, which i've set up through live. If i click the edit button within ableton, edit my sample in Wavelab all is going fine until I need to save the file - at which point wavelab gives me a "file is in use by another app" error.

I don't want to have to save it ...

Drum Map Clip Editor

Can anybody please tell me if there's a way to make the standard midi clip editor into a drum map or even apply the "slices view" of the editor to a "normal" midi clip?

I'm using Audiorealsism drum machine and find the standard piano roll uncomplimentary when inputting drum notes. I'd rather use ...

Re: Setting the trigger frequency range of a gate or "Autogate"?

ok guys, I've been experimenting with the multi band compressor and am not getting the desired results. Ive read through the section in the live manual, experimented, re-read it, tried again etc - with no joy.

Basically I just think the gate really needs an eq section to be able to achieve this ...
