Any FX teleport users able to use automation?

Hoping that someone might have a solution on this over here as the FX teleport boards are pretty dead..

I'm demo'ing FX Teleport 1.04 and its great, however I can not make automation work at all.

I'm trying to automate DCAM and some D16 plugins on the master comp from the slave and though the parameters are present in the automation drop down, they are not writing any information whilst trying to record. I am also unable to assign the CC's manually (even though i would rather not go down this route anyway)

Anyone else had this issue before?
