Other programs out there have this feature and it's really a timesaver when working with several midi tracks.

+1 (in fact +3 as my bandmembers would very much appreciate this feature too!)
CPU usage is a real issue especially if you're trying to use Live "live"!

Re: record MONO when routed from other track
+1 on this. Most DAW can deal with actual mono tracks, which would be a nice implementation, but even just the ability to only record the left or right channel onto a new mono track would be something... It's quite annoying to see you're taking up double the space and extra processing power to ...

Deactivate volume slider on MIDI keyboard
Hi all,
I was wondering if there is a way to tell live to ignore the movements of the volume slider on my keyboard (keystation 49e). It's just a bit frustrating when, after setting up all the volumes perfectly for a gig, accidentally touching the little slider ruins the whole balance...

Re: A tuner device?
Have you seen the polyphonic tuner from TC Electronic (iphone app or hardware version)
AMAZING! http://www.tcelectronic.com/polytune-iphone-app.asp

It would be great to see a tuner among the audio effects in Live 9; maybe with an option for bigger size (for people using it on stage) like the one available for spectrum.
It would really save a lot of time and I'm sure it's something pretty easy in terms of programming. I've tried many of the ...

Re: Interface to convert trigger inputs (jack output) into midi
Hi and thanks for the replies!
The TMC-6 would be the perfect solution if it wasn't that it basically costs pretty much the same price as the brain of the original drumkit (didn't find it on ebay either...). But thanks anyway maybe something we'll think about at a later stage...

Interface to convert trigger inputs (jack output) into midi
Hi,
what I'm looking for is an interface that can convert 1/4" jack inputs (for trigger signals coming from drum pads) and a midi output.
At the moment we're using the "brain" of our electronic drumkit but that means having to lug around that expensive piece of equipment to every rehearsal just to ...
