I have been happily working with LIVE6. So I am not sure to fork out 250 USD. Can someone tell me what is better in version 8. I looked on the advertisment for 8 but wasn't sure to get the picture. Thank you.

I have a simple question. Is there a way to assign x/y assignable in LIVe to an external MIDI controler which wouldb be sebding x/y CC messages for example Lemur or similar. Thank you.

let's say I arm a midi track and audio resampling track and I would like that the audio resampling track starts recording exactly 4 bars from my first midi note. Again thank you

I don't see the button in the clip view that used to be in 5.2 for editing in the external editor, was it moved?

I am using macbookpro and yes I did specify the external editor Bias Peak and yet can't find a way to export my sample. thank you for any help

is there a way to specify how long a loop should be recorded. for example I can specify before recording a lenght of a midi loop. can I do the same for audio lets say that I want to resample a four bar audio loop but not longer. Thank you

Finally I found some dough $$$ for a new machine. And initially I thought to buy a MacBook Pro but then I though well I don’t perform on stage so the question became maybe I should get a Quad tower which would run all of my programs immediately complete NI, Hypno and Live etc or ...

anyone has any ideas on Live & MacPro compatibility?
