Re: bouncing audio, tips?

I think it was my plugin buffer was set to as audio buffer. I have change that to 256, that seems to have resolved the delay.

Re: bouncing audio, tips?

I definately get latency when sending audio, if the tracks are cpu heavy then its really noticeable.

I think the main problem is the way i work i have 6 drum racks in a group, so i have kicks on one drum rack, snare claps on another ect. After i have individualy added fx to each drum i basically ...

bouncing audio, tips?

I'm looking for tips/workflows on how to bounce audio down from midi tracks. I find if i route a track into another audio track there is an issue with latency.
To freeze & then flatten works well but for some reason live is restrictive in what you can flatten, for example if you group tracks or have ...

Re: Win 7 / 64 bit - GUI troubles...Anyone else got these?

So i bought a new Logitech MX Performance mouse in the hope it would fix the problem as my old logitech mouse was just using standard windows drivers with no proper support as it was old & out of date.
It did not fix the issue of hte gui locking up. :(

Re: Win 7 / 64 bit - GUI troubles...Anyone else got these?

Glad this is not just me, its been driving me round the bend. I do not share your first problem but i get the freezing gui. I use an old logitech Mx700, there is no logitec mouseware for it so is just using windows drivers, i just use 3rd party software to enable the extra buttons to shortcuts ...

Re: Curious long midi note when recording

the problem seems to have gone since i posted here. Its really odd as i've had this problem for so long & as soon as i post on here about it it just doesn't happen any more. Only thing i can think of is i changed the way i had midi setup but i really don't think that solved the problem.

Re: Why doesn't turning off plug-in also result in less CPU?

It reduces cpu completely if i power off plugs. don't know about Altiverb.
I know that unfortunately turning the power off doesn't reduce latency of a plugin whch is a shame. Maybe the fact that altiverb has high latency is causing it to use high cpu even when off, I'm not really sure.

Re: Curious long midi note when recording

I did a search but couldn't find a match, so here goes:

When I record midi notes (a riff/drums/synth line) in a looped clip I run into a strange bug: any note that is still active/not released when the looppoint arrives... turns into a ONE HUGE note, overwriting any notes in that key I played ...

GUI lock-up when using plugins. win 7 + other problems

I have a strange problem, GUI locks up when using 3rd party plugs.
When using a parameter like filter cutoff for example the plugin GUI will randomly lock up until i release the mouse. The plugin tends to shoot off screen at this point.
The sound isn't effected. I have tried with no midi input in ...
