Re: Cloud 10 - Micah James - NeoTrance

Hi, Micah. Enjoyed listening to your organized and intelligently structured track. I liked the mystic organ and wind samples break at 1:45 and the cool crescendo from 3:15-3:45. I'm no NeoTrance expert, but it was a pleasure to listen to and seemed masterfully done. Kudos! :D

Re: new song Samara

Nice to listen to something unusual on a Wednesday afternoon! So thanks for the share.
I like Electronica with orchestral samples best. Your track had a great exotic flavor (the wind chimes and oboe where good juxtaposed). You communicated a "looming menace" theme quite clearly. "Samara" was ...

Re: Lo-fi Inspired by Antarctic explorers and dusty old vinyl

Neat - thoroughly ominous in the manner of underwater iceburgs and killer whales when they aren't feeding. I liked it. Especially the chimes after 2:30. Are you married to the last 30 seconds? I wanted more chimes. But I understand if ambient HAS to fade out seamlessly like that, I guess. It's the ...

Enjoyed your snippet!
I just got back from a trip to the ocean and your track reminded me of the rhythm of the waves in a fresh way.
Clever use of pedal - it felt pretty seamless to me!

Re: dartmouthian-bumpity evolver (dubby genrekiller)

Hey the best stuff if often an accident if you ask me!
Definitely qualifies as a genre buster - too melodic for techno, and too much variety for house. Yet just right for the listener.
I liked it. Can't help you on the mix, but I hope to hear the final track!

Re: New Tech House Tune

Hey, I like the restful bounce of this track. It's a strange combination (restful bounce, I mean), but that's how I'd describe it. I'm not sure the alteration at 6:36 is how you want to end the song, though...for me it changed the feel of the tune from an uptempo rejuvinator to an angry drummer ...

Most excellent, as usual. 8)
Loved the fresh samples throughout. Breaks were well placed to refresh the track...it never felt too long.
Thanks for share!

Re: Casimir's Blake - Echoes Of The Von Braun (Electro alert!)

Thanks for the share. It was, as promised, melodic psychodelic! Enjoyed the break before 1:00 - very clever. Very complete, pleasing-to-listen-to track. Now I feel I must investigate "Citadel."

Re: First try, be gentle

I'm new to Ableton myself, so I can't help you much on the mixing.
As a listener, I enjoyed both Crazy World and Strange Days/Strange Nights. You've got an 80s retro sound that was fun. We don't get many full blown ballads and rock tracks with complete lyrics here in Link to Your Music.

Oh no, don't tell me it's been 20 years! 8O
That's just tragic. Feels like yesterday.
Wicked good cover. Love the beat you laid down and the vocals are STELLAR.
Thanks for share.
Extremely cool.

Re: new track: echospace

Although I enjoyed some of the samples before 2:30, (like that crazy cycle of sample you got going at 2:00), I especially liked the "dancy" sound that you settled into around 2:30...that's when the song really solidified for me. I enjoyed it until around 4:30, when I began looking for the wind up ...

Don't hear many flute and sax samples these days :D
Very nice, especially liked 2:00, 3:20, and clappy kinda drums at 4:20. You break stuff up nicely for refreshing a groove.
Enjoyed it!

Re: Dubstep inspired Track - Feedback Appreciated

Alright! Not everyday I get chair dancin' here at Abelton. :D
Very cool beat you've got going around :30. And you provide lots of variety in sampled elements and the way you put them together was coherent. :D (That's my idea of high praise, BTW.)
I love the bass synth/sample around 1:38. You really ...

Re: Cinematic Dance Music

I like your sound on this track, very epic. It's dramatically different than another track of yours I listened to. That's always a good thing, I say.
Vocal bit after 1:30 was well placed, shocked me out of my intro listening haze.
I also liked the claps, but by minute 3 I wanted to kill the synths ...
