Re: Why is this kick panned slightly to the left....?
check the drum rack return channels. Looks like there is a delay and verb in there so that might be the key.

track routing quesiton
Hey can anyone explain whats happening in the following image to me? If the kick track's output is set to track A then the signal comes early for some reason, compare to track B which has the Kick track set as input. This is just a simple scenario, but what if you want to route two or more tracks ...

Re: Anybody around Edinburgh/Lothians that can tutor
Hello, just come across your message, have you found any tutoring yet? If not, I could be of assistance. I've been using live for a good few years and I have a master in digital composition so I know my stuff (hopefully). I also use max/msp and a number of other things if you're thinking of ...

Kapturing chain settings of a drum
Hello,
I can't trouble Kapture any of the chain settings of a drum rack i.e. volume, pan, sends, mutes and solos. I've go track and devices kapturing on in the Kapture devices and I'm able to kapture parameters on the devices inside the chains, but not the chains themselves. This is a right pain in ...

Re: Multichannel Routing Device - Automate a CIRCULAR motion?
It kind of works
Come on, it works perfectly! I was only making you a quick example for how to do a 'perfect' circle with a phasor, If you were actually building it into a functional patch you'd want do a number things to tidy it up and make it useful.
but when I put the 'circular spinner' on 0 ...

Re: Multichannel Routing Device - Automate a CIRCULAR motion?
Ok, hopefully I figured out the photo thing. Here goes.
I added some comments that might help. What's good about the phasor~ is that you'll be able to work it into the master transport controls, so you can operate with beat divisions etc. and not just free with frequency like I have it here. But ...

Re: Multichannel Routing Device - Automate a CIRCULAR motion?
Ok, figured it out. See in api lfo patch there is a control at the bottom that says 'output rate', as I understand it this sets the rate that the mapped values are updated, so in our case the rate that the lfo values are mapped to the azimuth control. I thought putting it as low as possible would ...

Re: Multichannel Routing Device - Automate a CIRCULAR motion?
I seem what you mean, its looks fine until you make the LFO really slow then I can see it jump a little like you said.
My next thought would be to test the following two options
1. modify it to use your own saw wave. if you open the max api ctrl1LFO device then open the patcher LFO at the bottom ...

Re: Multichannel Routing Device - Automate a CIRCULAR motion?
Helloello, I think what you want to do is really easy, unless I've missed something. You just want to pan your sound round in a simple circle around all the speakers?
First drop a max api ctrl1LFO device on the track and after that drop a multicahnnel-4send nodes devices (or however many nodes you ...
