Ok, hopefully I figured out the photo thing. Here goes.

I added some comments that might help. What's good about the phasor~ is that you'll be able to work it into the master transport controls, so you can operate with beat divisions etc. and not just free with frequency like I have it here. But you get the idea.

I should add, the bottom photo is what you should make inside the p perfect circle test patch

It kind of works, but when I put the 'circular spinner' on 0.0 and I manually move the Azimuth, it keeps placing itself back on 174.8 ....?

Come on, it works perfectly! I was only making you a quick example for how to do a 'perfect' circle with a phasor, If you were actually building it into a functional patch you'd want do a number things to tidy it up and make it useful.

Just put a gate object in that you can open or close, sort of a switch for circular or free movement. Or you could have a sel object above the gate and set it so when it get a 0 it closes the gate automatically.
