assumed this is real it shows:

a) ssl hardware can be directly used as soundcard in ableton now for multitrack recording.
b) fader positions from rane ttm57 are recorded as well. (thats possible with every midi capable mixer btw)

let´s wait for the rest...

a fa-101 has a volume knob. i dont have the interface but on pictures there are two knobs on the right side. monitor and firewire. one of them should do the job...if not try to click it. you can select phones or master volume this way on a lot of interfaces.

When you already own "live lite" (that comes with the APC40) the new "live intro" should do it for you..

as far as i understood it is a free upgrade from live lite. costs 99 bucks when you purchase it regularly.

i experience heavy audiocrackles when dragging audiofiles from ableton browser to my session view window
while playing. Is that a known problem? Is there a fix?

I´m afraid it´s my fault. Seems that the MAC got confused. A reboot solved the issue.

Just installed 8.05 on OSX 10.6.1

Icon bounces in dock for half a minute then stops but live wont start.
8.04 is working fine.
