I have a big problem with audio dropouts in my current liveset. But first, here´s my setup:

-Macbook Pro 15" (early 2011), 2,2GHz, i7, 4GB 1333MHz DDR3
-OS 10.7.3
-Ableton 8.2.6 / 8.3.4 (same problems)
-RME Fireface 800 v2.77, driver v3.10
-Behringer ADA8000 Ultragain Pro 8 Digital ...

In my case it doesn´t matter if the Soundcard is connected or not or connected and switched on. It happens anyway, so it doesn´t have to do something with the card or the Motu drivers. When Live is running after one million tries it runs stable. It´s just the startup process. And it´s only Ableton ...

Yes, let us know what they say. In my case they didn´t help much until now but let´s see. If there´s something new, I´ll post it!

Hmm, no I am on OS-X. Well, so I learned that now but that would be such a simple function and helps a lot when a project file is corrupt, then you can easily take the older one.

I´ve just done a mistake: I have done some changes in an older project for modifying it and save under new name. But by accident I have overwritten the file. Shit. Is there a possibility to het it back? I know Logic saves older versions in a separate folder, wich is supergood in caes like this ...

I have the same problems on my new mac book pro with Live 8.2.5 and 8.2.6. I try to open it and it hangs itself. It can take up to an hour before I get it started. I´ve got Lion and it´s crap. Many "functions" are a step back, really. No one needs that, maybe later but at the moment it´s just causing problems like it seems.

I searched for "drum replacement" and found apTrigger, it works super and costs 35€! No highend stuff, just a little tool that does it´s job.
