Re: chord help using the tonys chords pack

Doubler Effect

It would be awesome to have a doubler effect with detuning, delay, depth and feedback controls...

or instead of that: a pitch-shifter that can detune in +/-100 cents and semitones,

Re: it is time for ableton live 64-bit app...

lowered latency? ...I used Steinberg Cubase 5 because it is the only audio recording software I found that supports 64-bit operating environments. This is a critical component, because a 64-bit audio workstation handles memory processing faster than a 32-bit machine, which in turn helps reduce laten...

Re: Midi Output a semi-tone higher??

this exact same thing used to happen to my old M-Audio O2. i think what you gotta do is hold down a reset button and turn the power button on and off. sorry i can't be more specific, but i have no idea what controller you using. i would look through the MIDI controller's manual, there should be some...

Re: Slice To Midi - Transpose/Detune Slices Automatically?

Hmm. I've never dabbled much with Slice To Midi but lately have been enjoying it. One question I had: Is there anyway to easily transpose/detune the individual simpler slices without going into each one? I found this thread which seemed promising, but the link that Amaury provides is dead to me, lo...

Re: Annoying metronome

what is so hard about turning it on and off?

simply assign the metronome to a key on your keyboard (I use "m" for metronome) in Key Map Mode: ctrl+k/cmd+k.

Re: any bass players/guitarists in the place ?

i run my Fender Marcus Miller Jazz Bass through a Carvin 600watt RedEye2x10's, split with a DI box straight into Ableton. been playing the bass since i was 13, my favorite way of achieving grooves is with electric bass, i can ghost notes and get a way more controlled feel this way. i'll tighten up m...

I can load up a ton of VST synths and effects and I've not been able to make it choke yet. get yourself a nice USB 2.0 audio interface and you're good to go. cheers! um... just how many synths are you loading up? and what are the synths you'...

if you want to get into this stuff then you may as well start doing your song sin the right key for your tempo too. EG: C0 is 16.35 hz that equates to 981 Beats per minute (!) so divide it by 8 to get something a little bit less frantic and you have 122.625 BPM so if your song is in C, why not try ...
