sure, but the monome only has buttons, not cc-sending knobs. so i had to find a way to do it with 2 button presses.

doesn t seem possible in live itself so i worked my way around it in max/msp. the patch gets midi clock from live, de/increments in 1 BPM steps and sends out the new tempo value as MIDI CC to live.

there s rounding errors of around 0.15 BPM because of the necessary scaling to 0-127 and inaccuracy ...

awesome. and big tanx for giving us the max patch. i didn't get around to patch my BCR into my max apps and this will sure make it a lot easier.

do you have experience with max? if so, here s a max external for connecting the wii (for mac os x): http://www.iamas.ac.jp/~aka/max/#aka_wiiremote. with this you get the input data from the wii remote into max. then you have to convert the output data from the aka.wiiremote object to midi messages ...

i understand what you mean and i wish it 'd be possible. then we could make use of the arrangement's automations while retaining the flexibiity of the session view. i don't think it can be done but i'd love to hear it if it is...

oh i d love to have that... it s such a pain to put all tracks in one set. especially when you use arrangenment view with lots of automation.

but if ableton made it painless to import sets in other sets i'd be happy with that too.
