cool, i got the bpm thing sussed, though i would love something that woul nudge the bpm up or down, then release to original bpm (like a turntable!!!) would this max app b able to do this, if so i am willing to learn

hi does anyone know how to "push" or "pull" the tempo when trying to sync ableton to vinyl etc. ie momentarilly increase or decrease the bpm to push the track into alignment with the vinyl??

recently changed from pc to powerbook, and seem to have slow performance in all areas of ableton. also get glitching when cpu meter reaches about 60%. i have a new 17 inch g4 powerbook with 1 gig ram and 7200 rpm hdd. i am wondering if this is the limitations of running ableton on this machine, or ...
