midi clock "nudge" for djing

hi does anyone know how to "push" or "pull" the tempo when trying to sync ableton to vinyl etc. ie momentarilly increase or decrease the bpm to push the track into alignment with the vinyl??

this function is on the xone 3d........ i want to emulate it with my current midi controller............

You can design a patch to do this in a modular environment such as Max/MSP

you can set up a controller to change the bpm settings.

the smaller the bottom and top ranges the more resolution you will get, so you could momentarily turn it up .1-1 bpm or something. this will achive the same results...

max is pretty deep and has a steep learning curve....

cool, i got the bpm thing sussed, though i would love something that woul nudge the bpm up or down, then release to original bpm (like a turntable!!!) would this max app b able to do this, if so i am willing to learn
