3) fx rack with already routing option inside (mix wet / dry, link / LR / MS routing, multiband processing) i know we already can do it, but it needs multi ...

A) copy the track, use one with the comp and the other without and mix the 2 tracks

B) use a wet/dry rack fx

Sorry if this seems a little obvious, but are you saying that Live takes care of the delay compensation automatically and the UAD plugins work exactly the same way as the inbuilt native plugins?

I agree with djsynchro. The gradients and 3D look don't give you more information, just consume more space. The conservative, simple (but still powerful), intuitive UI design is what made Live so good in the first place. I don't know Logic, but compared to Reason, FruityLoops or Cubase, it's much ...

live 7 became unbuggy 6 month after his first release,

dont want to pay 100 other buck just to do beta tester during 6 month,

i understand ableton need money, but me i need stability,

live 7.0.1 / 7.0.3 / 7.0.5 / 7.0.7/ 7.0.9 were painfull release for me

but be patient it seems their are some issues with mac pro and logic

2 UAD-1 PCI and 1 UAD-2 QUAD PCIe and all existing plugins here

it works simply great (install v5 driver, install PCIe UAD-2 card, register the hardware & licence plugins on UA website and mix your project)

it give me a huge DSP power to complete heavy projects,

UA plugins are the best plugins ...

more controller support (euphonix, jazz mutant, ...),

it's hard to see that live is not as considered as cubase, logic or sonar,

each time a new controller comes out, Live doesn't support it at the beginning or later,

so we could thing it's just a toy and not a professionnal tool as it can be

if you can : UAD for sure (best eq, best comp / dynamic tool and an amazing easy to use reverb)

then some native tools are great (IMO) :

sonnox (great comp and reverb, eq is good also)
