I already turned warp off. The annoying effect sounds like some kind of echo. Since I'm a newbie, my knowledge of Live is limited, but I think it's just plain weird that Live processes without asking. It shouldn't process unless you tell it to, that's what I think.

At the moment I am only interested in editing my samples in a cut and paste way. I have recorded 8 tracks in sync from my studio quality tape machine.

When I create a live set with some of these tracks to edit them as a song, it all comes out crappy with some effect(s) on them that is/are ...
