Well for studio recording the MBox is great, but if you plan on playing sets live at clubs or whatever , you can not preview your samples in the headphones. Thats the only downfall to the MBOX. As for that pkg deal, I hear the LE versions of the software are VERY limited.

Can you cue up your clips using headphones in Remote 25 Audio???

What would be the differences between the full version of Live and the new LE version bundled with Protools?

well I figured it out, it took some time messing with preferences..

The new question is.... Is queing samples with the MBOX still not available??

When I switch to Digidesign Mbox as the in and output I lose the sound. Am I forgetting to do something? I get sound from the computer speakers only. i'm on a G4 in Jaguar

I use mbox, but you cant que in the headphones with LIVE. I'm wondering if that will ever become possible

Cant be done I hear and see, but will this ever change? Or do I need to look for a new sound card....Also what IS the best soundcard to use Live with?

Allright! This is it. Someone on the Digidesign page figured it out. I had to remove the DIOOSXMIDIDriver.plugin in my system. It's located at /Library/Audio/MIDI Drivers.

I re-downloaded the drivers and still no luck, but Reason isnt working though the MBOX either.

Actually I can ONLY run I Tunes and Quicktime thru the MBOX, Reason and LIVE are not playing thru...
Wierd, maybe its operater error , but I cant figure it out.

gump152 here... I do have Reason 2.5 on my machine but it's not in use when I try LIVE through the MBOX...Now the thing is other apps such as Quicktime and I Tunes are working seamlessly through the MBOX. So that tells me I set up the drivers properly.
