just be aware of sample rates, and not changing them around.
Sorry for my ignorance, is a stem a single audio track?
Also, would you recommend in ableton I record with EQ settings / effects enabled or do that in the ...

Ableton "indie rock band" user here, now ready to record CD
Hopefully I don't start an obvious and pointless thread here, but I'm searching for some guidance in the foggy road ahead of recording a CD; I.e. Which DAW to record tracks in (for guitar, synth, etc) so I can save some money when going to the studio and polishing the final product with a ...

Yeah, that sounds perfect! I didn't know you could make cue-points. I'm assuming this is explained in the help document? (I'm at work so I can't check it out right now)

Live slows to a crawl with too many drum racks open...
My current style of writing drum parts for my songs is to open a drum rack (usually a kit) and punch out a beat using my drum pad... from here I'll add more drum racks into Live so I can play beats on top of previous beats until I get what I want. This is alongside several audio tracks that are all ...

Re: Will TRS cables help me?
anyways I just found out that when i unplug my laptop a significant amount of noise goes away
That's what I noticed... that when my laptop relied on it's battery, it was completely silent. As soon as I plugged it in, I heard noise. The ground lift fixed it for me. My laptop did have a 3 prong plug ...
